Charles Slack-Méndez

Charles Slack-Méndez, the founding member of Slack-Méndez Law Firm, was born in Nogales, Arizona. Fluent in Spanish and English, Charles has been practicing law since 1993, specializing in personal injury law. As a dedicated litigator, he is a proud member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum—prestigious groups for trial lawyers who have secured million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. Less than 1% of U.S. attorneys are members of these forums. Charles has also been recognized for securing a jury verdict that ranked among the Top Ten in Arizona.

Outside of his legal career, Charles enjoys training dogs and playing the saxophone, which help him unwind and relieve stress.

Breann Slack

Breann, an Arizona native, is a dedicated Partner at Slack-Méndez Law Firm who has extensive pre-litigation and litigation experience in the fields of personal injury and civil rights.

Upon receiving her Juris Doctorate degree from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, she embarked on her legal career alongside her father, Charles Slack-Méndez. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Arizona and before the United States District Court of Arizona. Her litigation experience includes successfully handling a 14-day medical malpractice jury trial.

Over the years, Breann has handled a wide range of cases, recovering millions of dollars for her clients. Breann brings a unique perspective, blending years of experience with fresh, innovative approaches that keep the firm at the forefront of legal practice.

Breann loves traveling, singing karaoke (even if she’s a little off-key), and staying active. In her downtime, Breann enjoys spending time with her husband Spencer and her fur babies, Maui and Milo.

Lisa was raised in Nogales, Arizona, and graduated from Nogales High School in just three years. She went on to attend Arizona State University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. With over 20 years of experience as a legal assistant and office manager, Lisa has been instrumental to the success of Slack-Méndez Law Firm. She plays a key role in training new employees, ensuring cases are regularly reviewed, and keeping clients updated. Lisa also manages one of the most important tasks in the firm—writing checks for our deserving clients. She believes in providing exceptional service to every client, no matter the size of their case, to ensure they feel valued and appreciated.

Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her three children, her dogs, and traveling.

Sonia Reyna

Sonia was raised in Eloy, Arizona, and graduated from Santa Cruz Valley Union High School. With over 20 years of experience in the legal field, Sonia specializes in personal injury law and Indian law. In 2007, she was featured in the July/August edition of Legal Assistant Today magazine for her expertise and work in Indian law.

Danitza Lorta
